Description
A large cast stone Japanese lantern statuary for Asian and Zen garden design. The Naka Pagoda Statue has a tall, narrow shape for small space gardens or to add height where you would like a decorative statue which will show up well but not take up a lot of space on the floor or ground. This beautiful oriental style statuary has a square roof, center and base. Even the finial on the roof is square shaped as is the bottom pedestal. The windows are small and unique. The large Naka Tall Pagoda Statue will be beautiful art for your yard for years to come. May be used for path or landscape lighting. It has a 1 1/2″ hole in the bottom to allow for a cord should you wish to wire the lantern for unique path or landscape lighting.
The word ‘naka’ translates from Japanese to mean ‘middle’. In Chinese the word can mean ‘in’ or ‘center’. The Pagoda originally showed up in the architecture of China and is considered a Chinese design. From China it made its way to Japan where it became popular. The Pagoda is associated more with Japanese culture than Chinese.
