Acer griseum Paperbark Maple 15′-30′. Rounded to oval growth habit. An attractive small understory tree with highly ornamental, peeling orange cinnamon brown bark. The unusual bark adds winter interest to a southern landscape. The foliage of Paperbark Maple is three lobed, deep green and the leaves turn a bright red orange during the autumn season. Paperbark Maple grows well in our Georgia climate as a woodland garden understory or specimen tree and with its small size, is great for small space landscapes.
