‘Blue Pacific’ Juniper
Juniperus conferta ‘Blue Pacific’. Evergreen ground cover 1′. ‘Blue Pacific’ has a low growing, trailing habit and blue green foliage. The aromatic, pointed needles keep good color all year and the dense foliage spreads rapidly. ‘Blue Pacific’ is similar to ‘Blue Rug’ juniper and is a plant which works well on slopes with erosion problems or areas that can be difficult to maintain with a lawnmower. ‘Blue Pacific’ can produce dark blue to black berry like seed cones in fall and a silvery bloom when mature.
‘Daub’s Frosted’ Juniper
Juniperus chinensis Daub’s Frosted Juniper 18-24″ groundcover. ‘Daub’s Frosted’ Juniper is known for its two toned foliage which adds color to your landscape. New growth emerges yellow and later matures to a deeper blue green. ‘Daub’s Frosted’ Juniper is an idea for a groundcover in a sunny location.
‘Gold Lace’ Juniper
Juniperus chinensis pfitzeriana ‘Gold Lace’ 3-4′. Evergreen conifer, shrub. A stunning golden juniper that is probably the most golden of the junipers. ‘Gold Lace’ is a deep green with vibrant golden yellow new growth at the tips. The gold color can grow to the center of the plant, toning down the deeper green. ‘Gold Lace’ has a compact habit which forms layers. The yellow gold color intensifies during the fall and winter months. Use in a landscape as foundation planting or as accents in borders and in shrub beds. ‘Gold Lace’ is useful on steep banks and slopes. It can male a striking statement when planted with with darker green junipers for dramatic foliage contrast.
Golden Blue Pacific Juniper
Juniperus conferta Golden Blue Pacific 10-12″ groundcover. Golden Pacific Juniper looks like Blue Pacific Juniper with the exception of the attractive yellow gold color of the foliage. Golden Pacific Juniper has the same trailing, low growing growing habits Blue Pacific but this new variety displays a good amount of nice bright golden yellow foliage. Golden Blue Pacific Juniper is an in idea for a groundcover in a sunny location in your landscape design.
‘Grey Owl’ Juniper
Juniperus Juniper ‘Grey Owl’ 3′. Medium sized, spreading juniper with soft, silvery-gray needles. The branches bend slightly at the tips. ‘Grey Owl’ is low maintenance and drought tolerant when established and effective planted in masses as a tall groundcover. Landscape use included color accents, groundcover or foundation plant. ‘Grey Owl’ juniper is a female clone so will produce of juniper berries and cones.
Hollywood Juniper ‘Torulosa’
Juniperus chinensis Hollywood juniper ‘Torulosa’ tree 15′. Fast growing tree known for twisted, upright shape and deep green needles. Hollywood juniper ‘Torulosa’ has a unique, uneven growth pattern which makes it a striking pick as a specimen plant. Its form and dark green color are attractive against building walls, at the corners of a house at entryways. While Hollywood juniper ‘Torulosa’ may be planted as an informal hedge it tends to distract from the drama a single specimen will display.
Juniperus chinensis ‘Sargentii’ Sargent’s Juniper 18-24″. An evergreen shrub for planting as a groundcover. Sargent’s Juniper is of the best groundcover type junipers which offers your landscape an evergreen effect yet is low maintenance. Sargent’s Juniper can be useful as living erosion control in difficult spots.
Juniperus virginiana Taylor Juniper 30′. A tall, narrow tree which only grows 3-4′ wide. Taylor Juniper has blue green, semi soft needles and a columnar shape for a handsome look in your garden design. Taylor Juniper is wonderful as an elegant privacy screen, accents for your entryway, or to create a dramatic vertical element in your landscape plan. Evergreen.
‘Sea Green’ Juniper
Juniperus x pfitzeriana ‘Sea Green’ 4-6′. Upright, vase shape. ‘Sea Green’ has a bluish green tint and is known for keeping it’s rich color during the winter months. A taller variety. ‘Sea Green’ can be planted on steep banks as a groundcover for erosion control and used as a backdrop for planting shorter shrubs in the front.
