Carolina Sapphire Cypress Trees
Cuppressus arizonica Arizona Cypress Carolina Sapphire 30 – 40′ Evergreen Conifer. Conical shaped conifer. A fast growing evergreen tree great for privacy screens and living fences or as a specimen planting. Foliage is an attractive blue grey and aromatic all year. Carolina Sapphire cypress form is conical and upright with weeping, evergreen branches which can be a beautiful backdrop in a landscape. Carolina Sapphire cypress is drought tolerant and low maintenance once established. Our garden center has Carolina Cypress for sale in ball and burlap or container size.
Baldcypress Trees
Native. Taxodium distichum Baldcypress 50′ – 70′ Deciduous conifer. A stately deciduous tree which is adaptable in wet or dry conditions. Baldcypress has a pyramidal habit with a heavy straight trunk and attractive reddish brown bark to add winter interest to a landscape. The branches are distinctly horizontal. New growth is a very light green turning to a softer, darker green during summer. The beautiful, feathery foliage of Baldcypress turns a stunning red in fall. We also carry ‘Shawnee Brave’ Bald Cypress, which has a beautiful, pyramidal form.
Weeping Baldcypress
Native. Taxodium distichum Weeping Baldcypress ‘Falling Waters’. A deciduous conifer, weeping baldcypress ‘Falling Waters’ has a graceful arching form and the bright green needles of an upright baldcypress tree. It is a unique variety to grow as a centerpiece in a perennial shrub border or by a front of the house entryway. Weeping Baldcypress ‘Falling Waters’ will tolerate wet conditions, even standing water and may be planted in full sun.
Baldcypress ‘Lindsey’s Skyward’
Native. Taxodium distichum ‘Lindsey’s Skyward’ 20’x 6′ Deciduous conifer with a tall, narrow shape. Ideal for small spaces, between houses or along a walkway or driveway. The rich green foliage is soft to the touch. Branches face upward and are elegantly tiered. ‘Lindsey’s Skyward’ adds character to a landscape.
Italian Cypress (Mediterranean)
Cupressus sempervirens Italian Cypress or Mediterranean Cypress 30′. Evergreen conifer. Drought tolerant. Italian cypress is a favorite plant for a formal landscape. With a very tall, slender columnar form, Italian cypress has a dark, deep green color which lends a very elegant appearance to a property. The deep green color of the needles can sometimes have a hint of blue. Italian Cypress (Mediterranean Cypress) is an outstanding choice for planting against buildings for contrast, lining driveways or around entrances. Italian cypress will add an elegant, distinguished look anywhere it is used in a landscape. May also be planted in a pot or container for an entryway.
Golden Weeping Monterey Cypress
Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Saligna Aurea’ Golden Weeping Monterey Cypress, 30′. Golden Weeping Monterey Cypress is a unique tree for a landscape plan. The striking threadleaf foliage is tipped in yellow while the branches dip downward. The overall form is graceful and striking.
‘Goldcrest’ Cypress
‘Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Goldcrest’ 15′. An upright, dwarf tree with bright yellow-green foliage. ‘Goldcrest’ has a tight, columnar form with fragrant, golden yellow foliage. Plant in front of deep green trees and shrubs, or among purple leaved plants for brilliant contrast. ‘Goldcrest cypress may be grown as a container plant.
Leyland Cypress Trees
Leyland Cypress trees 50′ Evergreen tree conifer. Leyland cypress has long been a favorite for living fences and privacy screens. They are fast growing trees for sunny and difficult spots. Leyland cypress produces a thick, evergreen coverage and can grow tall enough to hide a neighbors house. Leyland cypress also makes an effective wind break and can be used for erosion control.
Pond Cypress
Native. Taxodium ascendens Pond Cypress 60′ – 70′. Pond Cypress is a deciduous conifer native to North America. with a narrow, conical or columnar. Branching is with spreading with upright branchlets. The airy foliage is bright green which will turn a rich orange brown in autumn. Light brown bark deeply furrowed. Does well both wet and dry sites. Pond Cypress has attractive, bright green cones in fall.
Raywood’s Weeping Arizona Cypress
Cupressus arizonica var. Raywood’s Weeping Arizona Cypress. Weeping evergreen conifer with blue green foliage. Raywood’s Weeping Arizona Cypress can be grown with a narrow form if staked straight up.

‘Aurea Nana’
Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Aurea Nana’ Dwarf Golden Threadleaf 4′ evergreen shrub. A hardy evergreen conifer which forms a delicate, golden lace like mound. New growth ‘Aurea Nana’ is bright golden yellow and holds the color throughout the growing season. Older foliage beneath the yellow topped new growth offers an interesting, a dark green contrast.
‘Compacta’
Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Compacta’ Compact Hinoki cypress 6′-8′. A dwarf Hinoki cypress with a dense form and the shape of larger specimens.
‘Confucius’
Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Confucius’ 15′ Dwarf Hinoki Cypress. ‘Confucius’ is a golden yellow hinoki variety with foliage that darkens to a deeper emerald green as it matures. Winter color is a bronze orange. ‘Confucius’ has an open, tiered habit with tight fans that are somewhat curled along the edges. Small, spherical cones develop late in the year.
‘Filicoides’
Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Filicoides’ Fernspray Gold Hinoki Cypress 8′-10′ evergreen. A small tree with a pyramidal shape and graceful, curved branching. Foliage is a deep green which develops attractive bronze tips in winter. Japanese Hinoki ‘Filicoides’ does well as a container plant and would look stately at a front door, steps, or in a deck planter. Hinoki ‘Filicoides’ is also well suited for Asian themed or oriental gardens.
Gold Thread
Gold Thread False Cypress. A small conifer for color in your landscape with bright golden yellow draping, string like branches. Gold Thread will form a dense mounding shrub. While the foliage tips are yellow, the interior of Gold Thread is green, offering a pretty color contrast in a garden design. Prefers full sun and a well drained soil.
Golden Mop Threadleaf False Cypress
Chamaecyparis pisifera Golden Mop Golden Mop Threadleaf False Cypress 3′ A ground hugging, mop like plant with long threads and spectacular gold color. Golden Mop False Cypress will bring all season color to your landscape design. Yellow colors best in full sun.
‘Gracillis’
Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Gracillis’ Slender Hinoki Cypress 8′-12′ evergreen tree. Pyramidal form with graceful, open branching and arching branchlets. Needles are small and dark green with reddish new growth in winter. Excellent evergreen shrub for narrow spaces, privacy screens, hedges or as a landscape background planting. Slender Hinoki Cypress ‘Gracillis’ may also suitable for rock gardens or as a container plant.
‘Nana Lutea’
Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Nana Lutea’ Dwarf Golden Hinoki Cypress 18″-36″. Golden dwarf Hinoki cypress with golden yellow fan like foliage. Needles of ‘Nana Lutea’ are deep blue green on the inside of the plant and tipped in a yellow golden color. Drought tolerant, Golden ‘Nana Lutea’ dwarf Japanese Hinoki is a great choice for rock gardens and containers.
‘Soft Serve’
Chamaecyparis pisifera False Cypress ‘Soft Serve’ ‘Dow Whiting’ 6′ – 10′ evergreen. Compact and conical, ‘Soft Serve’ is a medium height great plant for small privacy hedges or borders. The foliage is a bright green on top with a silvery blue underside on branches that fall in a graceful arch. ‘Soft Serve’ is a good size for urban and small space gardens.
‘Paul’s Gold’
Threadleaf False Cypress ‘Paul’s Gold’ 3′ Threadleaf evergreen shrub. A beautiful choice for its rich, golden green foliage, ‘Paul’s Gold’ makes a wonderful low growing to medium height hedge. Plant ‘Paul’s Gold’ in a sunny location for the best gold color. In shade the shrub will take on a deeper green hue. ‘Paul’s Gold’ Threadleaf False Cypress is a best pick for rock gardens, tailored slopes and as a colorful accent shrub.

Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Tempelhof’ Dwarf Hinoki Cypress 8′-10′. Shrub for sun. Compact form with deep green foliage in broad overlapping whorls on an attractive dwarf plant. Excellent when used as a low informal hedge to add interesting texture to a landscape, ‘Tempelhof’ requires little pruning. Foliage turns a pale bronze during winter.
