North Georgia Hayrides
Fall Family Activities – Scenic Hayrides
The fall season is not complete without a country hayride! Bring the family and kids and join us throughout the week and again on the weekends for a fun hayride around our scenic farm.
During the weekends we have two routes for our tractor hayrides which will travel through rolling hills and fields. One is around our tree farm where you can see our ponds and the trees we are growing trees. The second is through pastures and also is over pretty rolling hills. Our farm animals are out in the pastures during the ride.
On weekdays only rides are through the tree farm and we stop at our catfish farm for catfish feeding. The tractors will stop so long as the fish are hungry and will eat! They do fill up so come early! Children love throwing food over the railing of an extended deck which reaches over the water and watching the catfish swarm to the surface to feed.
Tractor Drawn Hayride Schedule:
Mon-Fri – hayrides will occur roughly every half hour. The last ride of the day through the week is at 4:00.
Sat – hayrides run nearly continuously all day. The last ride of the day on the weekend is at 2:00 sharp.
* Due to scheduled field trips during the morning hours (10-12 am) hayride departure times will revolve around group activities. There will be separate wagons for individuals not associated with the field trips . . . so no need to worry about having enough space.
A farm tractor pulls hay filled wagons around our pretty ponds and around gentle hills.
