NATIVE! Cercis canadensis Eastern Redbud 'Forest Pansy'. A lovely small tree for any home landscape, in early spring 'Forest Pansy' has a profusion of tiny purplish pink, pea like flower blooms along smooth grey branches. Flowers appear before foliage emerges. During the summer, in full sun the leaves become a beautiful purplish green color which adds life to a southern landscape. In fall 'Forest Pansy' foliage is a beautiful display of orange, reds, yellow and purple. A great small tree for the front yard.

NATIVE! Cercis canadensis Eastern Redbuds 'The Rising Sun'. A stunning introduction, this cultivar features the beautiful purplish pink early spring flowers of an Eastern redbud before leaves emerge. When the new foliage begins to fill in, 'The Rising Sun' puts in a show. New growth on this cultivar is soft apricot orange which will develop into bright yellow, then into pale greenish yellow green, and finally mature into deeper green. Since all of these colors are present on the tree at on time, 'The Rising Sun' will be a show stopper in any landscape. A great small tree for the front yard.
