A lovely small tree for any home landscape, in early spring 'Forest Pansy' has a profusion of tiny purplish pink, pea like flower blooms along smooth grey branches. Flowers appear before foliage emerges. During the summer, in full sun the leaves become a beautiful purplish green color which adds life to a southern landscape. In fall 'Forest Pansy' foliage is a beautiful display of orange, reds, yellow and purple. A great small tree for the front yard or as a street tree.
'The Rising Sun' Eastern Redbud Tree
NATIVE! Cercis canadensis Eastern Redbuds 'The Rising Sun'. A stunning introduction, this cultivar features the beautiful purplish pink early spring flowers of an Eastern redbud before leaves emerge. When the new foliage begins to fill in, 'The Rising Sun' puts in a show. New growth on this cultivar is soft apricot orange which will develop into bright yellow, then into pale greenish yellow green, and finally mature into deeper green. Since all of these colors are present on the tree at on time, 'The Rising Sun' will be a show stopper in any landscape. A great small tree for the front yard.

NATIVE! Cercis canadensis 'Ruby Falls'. A stunning red leaf redbud with a beautiful weeping form. 'Ruby Falls' can be used as a focal point in a landscape design and will provide multiple season interest. In spring, dark pink flowers appear along the branches, in summer, you have gorgeous wine red foliage and in winter time the bare tree branches provide an interesting shape. 'Ruby Falls' weeps fully with cascading limbs and still features the heart shaped leaves of a redbud tree.
'Merlot’ Eastern Redbud Tree
NATIVE! Cercis canadensis 'Merlot' 12'. A tree form redbud with wine red foliage, is more drought and heat tolerant than the species. New leaves are glossy red, turning a deep purple red as summer progresses. 'Merlot' would make a beautiful front yard lawn planting or may be used as a focal point in a landscape design. They do prefer a little relief from our hot Georgia sun, so a little afternoon shade would be a perfect spot!
