Pieris japonica 'Cavatine', dwarf form pieris. Compact, dense broadleaf evergreen shrub. In spring 'Cavatine' puts on a lovely display of pinkish buds in clustered, fountain like tassels which open to fragrant white flowers. Dwarf plant forms small evergreen mounds, leaves are a rich glossy green. 'Cavatine' blooms somewhat later than those of other Japanese pieris and can extend the pieris blooming season in a garden if other cultivars are planted. 'Cavatine' is a good selection as a small accent plant in rock garden, foundation planting or open woodland garden.

Pieris japonica 'Dodds Crystal Cascade Falls'. Broadleaf evergreen shrub, dense upright habit. In early spring, fountain like clusters of dainty, urn shaped white flowers bloom. Foliage is a glossy, rich green. 'Dodds Crystal Cascade Falls' is an ideal shrub for foundations and foreground placement in a shrub border or attractive in open woodland areas. May be grown as mass plantings, grouped or as specimens.

Pieris japonica 'Katsura'. Compact form, broadleaf evergreen grows in an upright habit. 'Katsura' is an eye catching shrub in a landscape with large glossy, deep red foliage that ages to green. The attractive color of new growth tips create a wonderful contrast in any garden. In late spring, pretty rose colored flowers emerge over green foliage. 'Katsura' may be grown as specimen plantings, grouped , in an open woodland garden or as a foundation plant.
