Gardenia jasminoides 'Kleim's Hardy'. Evergreen leaves are a glossy dark green, grows slowly in a rounded mounding habit. 'Kleim's Hardy' gardenia has a long bloom season with pure white, star like flowers. Prefers partial shade in a moist, well drained soil. With its compact size, 'Kleim's Hardy' is an outstanding addition to a small space garden. It is useful in a landscape as an accent shrub, front of the border shrub or as a container plant.

Gardenia jasminoides 'Frost Proof'. Evergreen shrub. Prefers partial shade in a moist, well drained soil but is more sun tolerant than other gardenia cultivars. 'Frost Proof' gardenia has fragrant white blooms, evergreen deep green glossy foliage. It can adapt to a variety of soil conditions and can take more sun than other gardenia varieties. 'Frost Proof' is a useful landscape plant in borders, hedge, foundation plant or grown in containers.
