Crape Myrtle Tree Varieties
Purple ‘Catawba’ 10′ – 12′ mid sized crape myrtle tree which features long lasting dark purple flowers in mid to late summer. Foliage is dark green during the summer season and turns bright red in the fall. ‘Catawba’ has a rounded form, and low a maintenance sturdy growth. It is drought tolerant after established and a popular choice for Georgia landscapes for its easy care and long bloom season.
Red ‘Dynamite’ 10′ – 15′. A great medium sized crape myrtle tree for limited space landscaping needs. It is a great size for use as borders or screens and have terrific curb appeal when placed in sets of three spaced about 10 feet apart. ‘Dynamite’ has gorgeous unusual red flowers from mid summer to fall. ‘Dynamite’ Crape Myrtle has dark green foliage, smooth tan bark and a brilliant fiery orange fall color.
Pink with purple foliage. ‘Midnight Magic’ 4′ – 6′ semi dwarf First Editions Series. Lavender Lagerstroemia indica ‘Muskogee’ 15′ – 25′ crape myrtle. With large, white flower clusters that can be 8″ – 16″ long, this beauty deserve a spot where it will get attention. Fall foliage is a bright orange red.
Bright Pink ‘Pink Velour’ 6′ – 10′ semi dwarf. A beautiful small sized crape myrtle for smaller landscapes. It is a a semi dwarf variety with bright fuchsia pink flowers mid summer to fall. ‘Pink Velour’ crepe myrtle is an excellent ornamental tree for borders or screens. The foliage is a distinctive burgundy on new growth which to dark purple green as it matures. It is low maintenance, featuring a high mildew resistance and is drought tolerance once established making it perfect for Georgia gardens. ‘Pink Velour’ multi season interest with attractive summer flowers, fall foliage color and beautiful exfoliating bark in the winter.
White ‘Sarah’s Favorite’ 15′ – 20′. ‘Sarah’s Favorite’ has become popular as a nice large sized Crape Myrtle for larger landscape needs. Dwarf ‘Berry Dazzle’
Fuchsia ‘Berry Dazzle’ 3′ – 4′ from the Gardeners Confidence collection. ‘Berry Dazzle’ is a way to add summer color to a small space garden or border. Bright fuchsia pink flowers start in mid summer and continuously repeat until fall. Like other crape myrtles, ‘Berry Dazzle’ will preform best when planted in full sun in well drained soil.

Dwarf ‘Diamond Dazzle’
