Thuja occidentalis 'Anna's Magic Ball' arborvitae. A Proven Winners plant. 10" - 15". Dwarf evergreen for year round color. 'Anna's Magic Ball' can fill a void in many landscape plans where you would like a small shrub but need something which will never outgrow its space. It forms a bright golden yellow ball and has good burn resistance in the sun. 'Anna's Magic Ball' will hold its color nicely in winter.

 


Thuja occidentalis Degroots Spire Arborvitae

'Degroot's Spire'

Thuja occidentalis 'Degroot's Spire' arborvitae. For narrow space at 20' tall and 4' - 5' wide. 'Degroot's Spire' has a beautiful tall narrow form and may be a best pick to plant between close spaced houses or buildings. Deep green foliage takes on purple tone during winter. Twisted texture on pyramidal form tolerates pruning if you wish a more formal, tailored column. Perfect for matched pairs, containers or planted in multiples as an attractive screen.

Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald' arborvitae 15' -18'. Evergreen tree. A tree for narrow spaces, works well as a front yard foundation plant, beside sidewalks, long driveways or walkways. 'Emerald' arborvitae is a conifer which features an upright, pyramidal form and has deep green, soft needles. Plant 'Emerald' arborvitae in rows for a stately, formal screen. The narrow width of 'Emerald' arborvitae make it a best pick for planting in large containers for a porch, deck or end of driveway. 3'-4' wide.

 


 

'Fire Chief' Globe

Thuja occidentalis 'Fire Chief' globe arborvitae 2' - 3'. 'Fire Chief' forms a small, almost perfectly globe shaped mound with finely textured, bright gold foliage in springtime then in fall changes to deep red fall. Fire Chief' is low maintenance and does not require pruning to keep its globe shape form. Perfect for containers, rock gardens massing in a landscape foundation.

 


Thuja occidentalis Arborvitae Green Giant

'Green Giant' Western

Thuja standishii x plicata 'Green Giant' Western Red Cedar hybrid 30' - 50'. Fast growing evergreen tree, great for privacy fence or windbreak. 'Green Giant' arborvitae has an upright, pyramidal shape and often used as a disease free substitute for Leland cypress. The soft foliage is dense and a dark green color. 'Green Giant' arborvitae is know to hold its color in winter without browning or yellowing. Planted in rows, 'Green Giant' will provide a stunning backdrop in a landscape and looks great as a solid living fence for privacy. Full sun but will tolerate some afternoon shade. Plant in a well drained area. Small seed cones are light brown and upright.

 


Thuja Holmstrup Arborvitae

'Holmstrup'

Thuja occidentalis 'Holmstrup' Eastern Arborvitae 5' - 7', 2' - 3'w. A densely branched, evergreen with a narrow conical shape and neat, formal appearance. Effective landscape accent, narrow space living fence, windbreak or screen. Creates an attractive frame when planted in pairs at a front entry or driveway. May be planted in large containers.

 


 

Dwarf 'Hot Head'

Thuja occidentalis 'Hot Head' globe arborvitae 3' - 4'. 'Hot Head' is a fun little evergreen with bright green foliage and small size. Drought and heat tolerant, it is a best pick for rock gardens or containers. You could also use 'Hot Head' along a path, walkway, or as a garden accent.

 


Thuja Little Giant Arborvitae

Dwarf 'Little Giant'

Thuja occidentalis 'Little Giant' arborvitae 4'. A versatile shrub for home or commercial landscaping, 'Little Giant' is small, globe shaped evergreen shrub. The rich green foliage along with the compact form is useful for an accent plant, foundation shrub, as specimen or hedge. Due to the small size, dwarf arborvitae 'Little Giant' may be used in front of a house or along walkways.

Dwarf 'Tiny Tim'

Thuja occidentalis 'Tiny Tim' arborvitae 2' - 4'. A dwarf cultivar with a round, globe shape. Slow growing and rarely requires pruning to hold its shape. A best pick for evergreen accents in front of a house or as a border in a perennial garden. 'Tiny Tim' can be effective for the end of a driveway or mailbox. Plant 'Tiny Tim' arborvitae in a sunny location for best color and foliage.

 


Thuja Zebrina Arborvitae

'Zebrina'

Thuja plicata 'Zebrina' arborvitae 30' - 35'. Western red cedar or giant red cedar. 'Zebrina' has a tall, narrow habit which matures as a pyramidal tree to 8' - 12' wide. From a distance the overall appearance and color of this tree is one of a bright yellow green but upon closer view the feathery foliage is striped with both deep green and creamy golden yellow. Native to the Pacific Northwest. With its narrow form 'Zebrina' is a best pick for a privacy screen between buildings, to line a long driveway or as a stand alone backdrop in a landscape design.
